InTramCities with Ian Stewart
Mexico City,
Mexico : 1983
Seven views along the remaining
tramway in Mexico City, the suburban route from Tasquena to
Xochimilco, with a branch to Tlalpan. Operated by PPC cars, this is
the last remnant of a once large network which fell victim to
underinvestment, chaotic traffic growth and the development of a
modern underground railway system, which it links with at Tasquena.
One photo taken on the Paris-inspired rubber-tyred metro is
included.
