Undertook trials on June
20th 1887
On May 2nd 1893, Stadt Luzern carried German Kaiser Wilhelm II from
Fluelen to Luzern
Saw extremely limited service during World War I in 1915 and
1916
Withdrawn in 1917
Would have required substantial renovation in order to return to
service
Also, suffered from an extremely high level of fuel consumption
In 1925 it was decided to replace her with a new
vessel (also called Stadt Luzern)
